FRIDAY's FAVE FIVE

 

Now it's cool, and summer is definitively over. I try to walk around the park, not all of it that's too much, but a little circle, I have to do this and when it rains I try to use the inside bicycle. 

The trees and shrubs are still green, only a few start to get yellow.

 

On Monday I went shopping not for food but more for the bathroom.  I also wanted to buy fruits, but suddenly I was too tired. So I returned home and arrived just in time to participate in a game. 

Some had collected typical fall things and displayed in the restaurant; We are now 21 and all people,  old, but without any dementia, there is just one who sings the whole day, but now she has learned that when we play she has to keep quiet. So far it works. It seems that the works on the 4th floor are finished and the mentally disturbed people have their own ward again, which is closed. Nobody from there is allowed to go out alone, so often it's a relative or a friend who takes them out or the nurses, when they have time. The son of one man has hired an African man who walks him around in the park. 

The only one who had to be moved on the 4th floor, because she became difficult and tried to escape, we are really missing is the Italian Mamma, but this week she was allowed to visit us twice and even stayed until 4 pm before she starts to talk about her mother or to ask everyone if they can drive her home, since she has so much work to do at home with her four sons. Of course, the sons are already grandfathers themselves, and as children they only exist in their mother's mind.

Taking pictures with my "new" mobile, I discovered  more and more possibilities to improve my photos ! This morning I tried out signs I had never touched and I had to laugh when I saw the result !

I had a beard now ! and then I clicked on another sign and the result was this :

This afternoon I took some pictures of my friends and decorated them with beards, glasses, long ears etc.

Now everyone wanted a picture like that, and we had a lot of fun. Outside, it was raining cats and dogs, and we realized how lucky we are to get along so well and form a big family, rather than sitting alone in a house or apartment.
