WEEKEND
The last weekend of October was truly the last. We had a lot of wind, almost a storm, it rained, and it was cold. Luckily, our castle is nice and warm.
In the afternoon, we had to answer questions about autumn. It was very interesting, for example, why do leaves turn orange or yellow before they fall, or whether autumn always starts on the same date. I wasn't able to answer many questions, but I learned a lot.
And while the leaves danced in the wind, we had our coffee klatch and teased each other.
On Sunday it was the same and as our animators had their Sunday off, we played cards and amused ourselves alone.
The castle parkland is looking very autumnal.

Those were fun and sweet remembrances of your kitties! We had a lot of rain last week, too. And some strong winds, but thankfully no trees came down here. We had two nights with frost, so now all the leaves are coming down fast...I mowed them all into the grass, so now we'll wait till the rest of them come down. I love the crunchy sounds they make when you walk through them!
