1. What kind of winter person are you-snow lover, fireplace snuggler, winter adventurer, or indoor hibernator? Elaborate.
None of that, I'd rather hide in a cave and sleep until spring!
2. The Pantone color of the year is cloud dancer, described as a gentle, billowy off white shade. The color symbolizes 'peace, clarity, quiet reflection, renewal, and a soft reset'. Of the terms just listed which do you need most in your life this winter?
I looked at the "colors of the year", and I don't like them. I have no idea who decides which color is the best, it also depends for what the color is used. Anyway I am for a soft (or not soft) reset. I always like something new.
3. Every cloud has a silver lining, on cloud nine, head in the clouds, storm clouds gathering, or cloud of suspicion...which 'cloud' idiom do you most relate to currently? Explain.
I am certainly not on cloud nine, and I never had my head in the clouds, I would rather choose the cloud of suspicion, since I became a widow.
4. coconut, cauliflower, cottage cheese, mayonnaise, onions, ranch dressing...of the white foods listed, which would be the hardest for you to give up? Do you like all or any of the foods on the list?
Without any doubt cottage cheese ! I love cottage cheese. From the others listed, I would eat them, but I don't know if I would like them.
5. Thomas Wentworth Higginson is credited with this quote-
"How many lessons of faith and beauty we should lose, if there were no winter in our year."
Agree or disagree? Tell us why.
As far as I'm concerned, winter could be removed from the calendar; I really don't need it. Why ? Usually it's rainy, grey, cold, wet, stormy, in short awful. Seldom we have snow and sunny weather. I count on climate change maybe then we will have a blue sky, sunshine and enough snow to enjoy it.

6. Insert your own random thought here.
I caught a cold, or rather, I caught it from André, who was sitting across from me, coughing and sneezing merrily away. I told him he should stay in his room or at least wear a mask, but it was too late. The next morning I woke up coughing and sneezing and feeling awful. So I didn't know what random thoughts I was having because my brain was as empty as my wallet. As always when I have a question, I googled. When I asked what a random thought was, I got the following answer ....
If a Siamese twin is convicted of a crime do they lock up the innocent sibling or let the criminal go free ?
What do you think ?
Dear Ingrid, I am so sorry to hear that you caught Andre's cold. He should have known better to stay clear of others! Your snow photos are beautiful! I also love cottage cheese! Sometimes I can have it with canned or bottled sliced peaches! Your illustration of the hibernation mode made me smile. I think many people can understand and relate to this!!!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you've caught a cold. I hope you're feeling better soon. That pup looks like he doesn't mind winter weather. Ours loves the snow but we get very little here. Take care!
ReplyDeleteThat's a good question about Siameses twins.
