1. When does time pass slowly for you? When does time past quickly for you?
When I have to wait for something, or somebody ! But when I am on holidays, time flies by !
2. Do you have a favorite beach? What's your favorite 'beach' activity? Tell us what we'd find in your beach bag.
I have two favorite beaches, the red sea in Egypt for swimming and just laying at the beach
3. Your favorite book or movie with a beach setting?
I am unable to read at the beach and certainly not watching a movie ! There is so much to see or to chat with people ! I couldn't concentrate.
4. What's a food you love, but find it's a pain to eat? Is it worth it?
Artichokes ! I love the taste but not the pealing until finally I arrive at the heart !
5. Do you like roller coasters? What's the best (or worst) roller coaster you've been on?
I never liked these things, but one day in my youth, friends convinced me to come with them. I didn't want to, but finally they pulled and pushed me in the cabin of that thing. I thought I would die ! It was awful and when finally I was on the ground again, my legs trembled and my face was green ! It took me some time to pull me together. Never ever I would go on a roller coaster again !!
6. Insert your own random thought here.
Today my doctor will come, finally I decided to call her. Usually I wait until I am with one foot in my grave, but now it's since beginning July that I am still coughing, and feeling not normal. So my random thoughts are rather black and I see my world as a catastrophe. I want to do so many things, but I just have not then energy !
Such beautiful photos, dear Ingrid! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for your health! I am happy you called your doctor!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing these photos! I used to like roller coasters, but when I was a teenager. I am 68 now and don't even remember the type of roller coaster I was on, but it was one that did not go upside down! Take good care of yourself. Sending you much love and warm hugs.
It can be difficult to be happy when physical ailments besiege us. Tender hugs to you.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a roller coaster rider either. It's hard to be cheerful when we're not feeling well. I hope the Dr.visit helps and you're feeling better soon. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI sure hope the doctor can help you to feel much better really soon,, so you can resume doing the things you love to do.
ReplyDeleteI like walking along beacjhes, but noit laying in the sun, not swimming...I prefer swimming in a pool!
To get me on a roller coaster you would first have to kill me, LOL!!! Even the tamer rides do not appeal to me...let me be on a simple carousel, teehee!
There's always so much to see at the seaside.
ReplyDeleteI loathe rollercoasters and don't really like fun fairs at all.
I do hope you're feeling better now - it's been too long that you've been under the weather.
Movie with a beach setting? "Beaches" with Bette Midler; "Fool's Gold" (my favourite) which is more ocean but there are beach scenes.
ReplyDeleteIt's so try waiting for something goes so slowly but when that time arrives it seems to go by so quickly!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful beaches! I love a bench looking out to the sea.
I hope the doctor can help and has some good news for you. Feel better soon.
I would love to visit both of the beaches you shared! They are beautiful - maybe someday. I can see how artichokes would be a real pain to peel and chop. We rarely have them, and when we do I buy them canned or in a jar. Hope your doctor can help you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteI have never tried preparing an artichoke but I know they can be very difficult. Sorry that you are not feeling well and hope the doctor's visit helps. Those beaches both look beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping when the Dr comes all your woes will go away. I love your answers. I have not had artichokes to know, but I am sure they must be good or why do people bother? As to roller coasters, well, I'm with you. Tried once, and never, ever again. I believe they created the Darwin Awards for people that do such silly things. And the joy of a seaside holiday on the south coast. I have done many as a child and the memories stay with me still. The weather seemed better then, too!
