To describe this week it was grey and cold fortunately we have always fun with our activities.
Luckily, I'm very busy with my photos, either converting black and white ones to color, changing hairstyles, or altering backgrounds with AI. And I still have a lot to do! Here are a few examples

here we are a young couple

a happy Dad

45 years later with the help of AI I finally could cut him the long hairs !
The last day of the week it was the best at least for me. We were supposed to make flower arrangements. From the whole group of 20, there were only three of us: me, Therese, and Philip. The others watched and gave advice we didn't need.
Therese
Amandine and Philip
Amandine, our director, also came, took pictures, and admired our creations. Kim, our entertainer's mother, had brought the flowers and all the other materials. She's a gardener. The staff also came, and, just for me they played Italian songs by Ramazotti, Zucchero, and others, and they danced ! I really felt like I was on vacation.
And our nurses, who were finally able to relax and made us laugh and dance.Yes, after the truly awful April and May, we finally have sunshine again!

Dear Ingrid, I absolutely love ❤️ all your beautiful photos.
ReplyDeleteWe're having several days of rainy weather, but we need it. The photos are so fun! The flower arrangements look great. One of my closest friends used to have a flower shop. I worked for her on busy times, like Mother's Day and Valentine's Day. I could do bud vases and corsages, but the bigger arrangements rarely came out right for me!
ReplyDeleteYou seem to have had a great time.
ReplyDeleteHave you shared your newly acquired photo altering skills with others? You could set up a business fixing up other residents old photos.
I loved seeing you all dancing in the sunshine 😀💖
ReplyDeleteAfter a few days of sunshine, we have had rain and rain and rain. Did you send it over the Atlantic to us?
ReplyDeleteThe flower arrangements were lovely.
You are doing a great job with the photos!
Beautiful blog
ReplyDeletePlease read my post
ReplyDeleteHow fun to do flower arrangements! Great pictures you are restoring!
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely the staff let their hair down, unlike your son who had his raised ;)
ReplyDeleteThat was a lovely gesture to buy all the flowers and have a display making session. You all id far better than I could have, and had fun too, which is priceless.
