WEEKEND
Saturday was a strange day, as usual in the mornings the rooms are made and I looked for pictures in my computer.
In the afternoon we were without entertainer but that didn't bother us I asked our group if they wanted to play Bingo or Uno, because everybody loves these games, they are so easy and you don't have to break your brain. We choose Bingo. Everybody was talking about Gilberte who had left us forever. It had happened in the afternoon and as always when somebody passes away the deceased were very discreetly taken away immediately by a funeral service. Only one person had just seen her being taken away from out of his window. Then we concentrated on the game again.
Mimmi sang her love songs of Julio again and made us laugh. So the afternoon passed quite cheerfully after all. Outside it was raining again.
On Sunday afternoon my friend Laure came to visit me, I've known her for a very long time. She was the wife of my Indian colleague. Our sons were both born in August, four days apart. Of course, we had a lot to talk about. She had visited her son in London and was delighted by the friendliness of the neighbors; and I told her that's one of the reasons I went to Eastbourne every year. She returned home at 5 pm, and I was pleased to discover that it now stays light until 5 pm!
