The Collegiate Church of St. Gertrude is a Roman Catholic collegiate church in Nivelles, only 15 km from my town Waterloo in Belgium, The church was built in the 11th century and is dedicated to St. Gertrude the patron of cats ! I didn't know that at all, but know I like St. Gertrude !
I went there with my friends from the retirement home. I have been in Nivelles a thousand times and also turned around the church, but had never been inside. Next time I will light a candle for St. Gertrude for all the cats in the world
