1. Big week in the US of A...do you do your own taxes? What's something you've found 'taxing' lately?
No, since I am living in my castle, it's done automatically by computer. I get a copy, but as a widow there is no surprise.

2. When it comes to travel are you a last minute packer or a lay it all out a week in advance type? Do you struggle to pack light? Share a packing tip that has worked for you.
Since I traveled a lot, I was well organized. I had a list with everything I needed, and packed my suitcase one day before, let it open in case I wanted to add something and that was it.
3. April is National Grilled Cheese Month. Hmmm...who knew it got its own month? Do you like a grilled cheese sandwich? What ingredient do you add to take yours to the next level? I did not know that April is the national grilled cheese month. Anyway for me it could be a cheese year, I love cheese, grilled or not, on a sandwich, with fruits, in a salad on a plate, as a fondue, as a raclette, every cheese is welcome !

4. There's a well known quote that says-
'A ship in the harbor is safe, but that's not what ships are built for." John A. Shedd
Is constant growth necessary or do you think it's more important to prioritize stability and peace in your life?
Now that I belong to the antiques, I suppose I must prioritize stability and peace in my life, but I have always been quite adventurous and would jump into the water even when I didn't know if I could swim. For me, it was always action first and thinking later. Luckily, nothing ever happened to me, quite the opposite
5. Let's wrap this up with a fun spring this or that-
6. Insert your own random thought here.
It's sunshine outside so I will spent the whole afternoon in our park I have nothing special to think about only that for the moment I feel well.

Dear Ingrid, the cat in your photo is adorable. The flowers in your last picture are beautiful. I love the photo of you with the Charlie Chaplin statue. You look fabulous.
ReplyDeleteI have never been on a camel and I don't think I would want to. They spit. LOL.
The cartoon made me laugh.
I'm glad you're feeling well again - long may it last.
ReplyDelete1: as a pensioner I now no longer pay taxes so don't need to do the paperwork anymore. I did always do my own in the past.
ReplyDelete2: I rarely travel but I do pack two days ahead when I am going anywhere.
3: grilled cheese? i like it plain, but sometimes add in ham and very thin tomato slices.
4: I prefer stability and peace too these days, but hope for constant growth for the younger family members.
That is good your taxes are done automatically.
ReplyDeleteYou do sound organised with your packing, that is a great idea about leaving the case open in case you want to add something. How lovely to spend the afternoon in the park!
That looks like a lovely spot to spend the afternoon! I think when you travel a lot you get into a rhythm with packing and know what you need to do. Have a nice week!
ReplyDeleteSadly we cant have cheese these days, but cheese pretty much on anything works for us, even on own.
ReplyDeleteErin
Loved the flashback pictures, esp the camel one!
ReplyDeleteThose spring blooms are ever so beautiful!
Sorry I haven't been visiting for quite a while...but well, life gets in the way sometimes. All is well at my end, nonetheless! Glad you're feeling pretty well for now, and we hope you can take that day trip you planned with a freind to see the kites.
